Let's Play Dress Up!

Even though it's snowing like a banshee here in Denver, I can't stop thinking of spring or summer weddings.    


First, lets find a dress.  I adore pockets and simplicity.  This gorgeous dress from Aria is under $500 and a perfect blank slate.  I would replace the turquoise sash with a simple white version or none at all.  (the sash is sold separately)  



Now a hairpiece.  Which Goose is an amazing Etsy vender who makes the most beautiful hair accessories for Brides and anyone in the Bridal Party.  She also makes boutonnieres.  I think this sweet, soft pink comb would fit perfectly with a spring wedding, and for $40, it is budget friendly.......






Now on to jewelry!  If you haven't noticed by now, I tend to lean towards the simple and understated.  With such a beautiful hairpiece, I think classic pearls would look stunning.  These are form Kohl's, and they always have fantastic sales!  These are only $7.80!



And of course you will need a beautiful pearl necklace for just $20 .......



Now for some sassy gold sandals for $25......

And a simple bouquet of white tulips.....



You are now ready to walk down the aisle!  


PS.....If any Bride wears sandals like these on her wedding day, she is officially my hero!  I love these sandals!

Can we please talk about how beautiful Baby's Breath is?  It is soft, feminine, and financially friendly.  I fear that Baby's Breath has received a horrible reputation as just a "filler" flower, but it can make a stunning statement when displayed in all its glory.  I actually prefer it by itself rather then mixed in with other flowers.  Let's take a look shall we?

Hello Lovely

When I was in junior high I found this dress in a wedding magazine that had 3/4 length sleeves.  I cut it out and kept the picture in my top dresser drawer.  When I went out looking for my wedding dress, I could find nothing with sleeves that looked as beautiful as the dress I saw as a youngin', until now!  Today, I found it reincarnated at JCrew, behold it's loveliness.....
